Spirit Brood Theological Seminary operates under the legal framework provided by the State of Florida, where we are duly incorporated as a Religious Educational Institution. Florida law permits us to offer educational programs exclusively designed to prepare students for religious vocations as ministers, professionals, or laypersons in the areas of ministry, counseling, theology, education, administration, music, fine arts, media communications, and social work.
We fully comply with the requirements of Section 1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes, and Rule 6E5.001, Florida Administrative Code. Consequently, we are not subject to the jurisdiction or purview of the Florida Commission for Independent Education and are not required to obtain licensure. Additionally, all degree programs offered by Spirit Brood Theological Seminary adhere to the commission’s duration standards, and our consumer practices align with the provisions of Section 1005.04, Florida Statutes.
In accordance with Florida law for religious exemption from licensure/accreditation, Spirit Brood Theological Seminary has filed and submitted a notarized Form 113RE to the Commission for Independent Education as required.
Spirit Brood Theological Seminary is a Certified Member of the Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries (AICCS). AICCS is a faith-based, non-profit educational organization chartered in the State of Missouri. It is dedicated to the development, strengthening, and accreditation of Christian schools of ministry that offer both in-classroom and online programs.
Through our membership with AICCS, over 1,000 institutions worldwide recognize and accept credits and/or degrees issued by Spirit Brood Theological Seminary. Additionally, certain schools accredited by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) may also accept our credentials. However, please note that credit transfers remain at the discretion of the receiving institution.
